Impactful experiential design is focused on the full end-to-end experience. Every moment and touchpoint should be aligned to the client's overall brand and message. 

PayPal Commerce Innovation Showcase

challenge:

Explain and evangelize PayPal's vision to create the future of commerce to VIP customers and future partners.

responsibilities:

solution:

A permanent installation on PayPal's campus was created as an immersive, simulated shopping experience that walked attendees through a day in the life of a consumer. Custom touchscreens simulated the experience of browsing, shopping and paying with PayPal products in each environment. As new technologies and solutions emerged, the vignettes were updated to new retail environments to demonstrate these new products. 

 

I worked closely with the production team and vendors to carefully select all elements of each vignette. My favorite details include hand-tagging all of the merchandise, creating window graphics for each business and sourcing authentic pieces for each space.

Crest 3D White Shakira Media Event

challenge:

Position Crest 3D White as a luxury beauty brand on an international scale while also leveraging their celebrity partnership.

solution:

We invited beauty editors and bloggers from around the world to Barcelona for a three-day event that included product samples and information, Spanish cooking lessons, and authentic dinners. The three days culminated in an interview with Shakira by celebrity stylist Robert Verdi, that was live-streamed worldwide, followed by the 3D White Gala Dinner.

Walmart 

Community Table

challenge:

Create an event for local nonprofit organizations celebrating the food and family of the Thanksgiving holiday in only 12 business days.

solution:

Walmart, in partnership with Jennifer Garner, teamed up with chef Ina Garten  to not only whip up Thanksgiving dinner, but to also share their culinary tips, tricks and hacks with attendees. The special “Friendsgiving” event was for the Walmart Community Table initiative with about 150 members of local nonprofit organizations and their families in attendance. 

 

The event included a test kitchen with live cooking demos where attendees learned how to make the chefs’ favorite thanksgiving recipes, all of which would later be served as a family-style dinner at the beautiful Calamigos Ranch in Malibu. 

 

The styling of the event was rustic and kid-friendly, including kids craft tables, play kitchens, a produce market and plenty of outdoor games to keep the kids entertained.
